TEDZILLA ROCKS – Your interview with Al & Laura Ries about WAR IN THE BOARDROOM smoked!
The World Wide Rave vs. The World Wide Knave was awesome! The KNAVE RULES!
The Worst Pitch of All-Time: Thought-provoking. Poignant. Inspirational. That’s a tri-fecta in my book. Nicely written.
MADE TO STICK STUCK … who does your cartoons?
The End of Marketing & PR – Great resource, I appreciate how you’ve brought a lot of very useful things together in one place, and quite concisely. Nice job! I, too, am a fan of David Meerman Scott and Valeria Maltoni. These ideas and tools are definitely the present and future of business and communications. I don’t think PR or marketing will end, but their forms are definitely changing — and I think that’s purely an improvement. Thanks for the handy resource, and the level of detail. Several apps here I haven’t used yet. I’m sure I’ll refer to this post often, and send others this way, too
Outstanding writing in “The Greatest Words.”
“I receive a lot of newsletters via email. Even though I subscribed to all of them, more and more they seem like SPAM. Not so for Cincom’s Expert Access. I really look forward to Steve Kayser’s “Shoot the Donkey” series. Who wouldn’t get drawn in by the title “Shooting the Donkey in the Complex Sales Process … Hollywood Style” or “I came, I saw, I shot two donkeys.” But it’s not just the creative title, the articles follow through with the same wry wit and humor. Then you realize they actually say something you can use to improve your business practices. I get to learn something useful and enjoy the process — what a concept! Steve ought to write a book. I don’t know if these are all published in one place, or you have to work your way back to last November’s Expert Access, but in either case it’s worth reading the whole series. Now, if I could just get rid of the real SPAM…” – Monty Williams, Director, Business Development, GemStone Systems, Inc.
“Just wanted to tell you that “Shooting the Donkey” arrived just in time for my strategic planning meeting with my fundraising team. Their budget goal is $132.6 million to raise for the children this fiscal year – your advice and fun way of delivering it was very effective. Take care and keep the good advice coming.” – Global Non-Profit Organization
Ihave changed the way I run my business – in some very important ways – based on information in your newsletter. And I always look forward to receiving it. My favorite writers are you (the humble editor) and Tom Nies (although I do like the other experts, too). This month, your “Big Presentation” is one of my very favorites – I shared it in a few places on the Internet. And Tom’s article is also very enlightening, as he always is.
“The Worst Pitch.” I’m not sure how I found the story. Thank you for taking the time to write it. Thank you of writing it so well. Thank you for lifting the fog enough for me to meet some of the people who are cheering for me to move forward, into the light.
The articles are insightful and useful. The humor is a welcome change from many other industry newsletters. I have even forwarded articles to others as well as printed them out for my department or coworkers to review. Excellent job! – Market Analyst, Northrop Grumman Electro-Optical Systems (EOS)

I discovered you by my great teacher Dr. “Woody Sears”, and after i read the 1st story I become addicted to your work. Today when I opened my Cincom Expert Acess, I was very glad.
